Our Pastor
Jared Keath
Jared has been a pastor at FPC since 2013. Prior to being a pastor, he worked in native plant revegetation. Jared is married to Jasmine and has five children. He spends his spare time exploring creation with his family, swimming in the beach and riding bikes.
Jared grew up believing in God, but tended to relate to him the way one relates to a policeman. That all changed while at uni, when a fellow student explained that being right with God is not based on what we do for him, but on what he has done for us in Jesus. Jared put his trust in Jesus and has been following him ever since. He considers it a great privilege to have a job that is centred on telling others this great news.
